The City of Summit, located in Union County, NJ about 25 miles west of Manhattan, invites qualified developers to submit qualifications for the redevelopment of the Broad Street West Redevelopment Area.  Through a transparent and competitive selection process, a development team will be designated to redevelop a centrally located area, directly adjacent to the City’s historic, walkable downtown. The City and the designated developer(s) will enter into a public-private partnership to create an area that is well integrated with the downtown and linked to key City assets and landmarks by safe, user-friendly multi-modal streets and transportation networks for Summit residents, businesses, and visitors.

The Redevelopment Area is located directly adjacent to the Village Green and is an integral component of the broader effort to create healthy, livable neighborhoods and districts throughout out the City.                                             

Proposals must be delivered to Summit City Hall on or before July 26, 2018 by 4:00 PM and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed as follows:
