Pending closed session discussion, Common Council will approve the promotion of an officer in the Fire Department with a swearing in to follow.
There is one ordinance for hearing. It is a capital bond ordinance that authorizes borrowing for Summit's portion of the next several phases of the Joint Meeting's flood mitigation project (critical sewer/waste infrastructure that is reimbursed 90% from FEMA).
There is one ordinance for introduction that will add a four way stop at the intersection of Prospect Street and Blackburn Road. The hearing will be held at the March 7 Common Council meeting.
There are several resolutions related to the city’s temporary operating budget and annual licensing agreements for sidewalk cafes.
A report outlining city activities related to affordable housing in 2022 will be an item for discussion. The municipal housing liaison will attend tonight’s meeting to facilitate the discussion and answer questions from elected officials and the community.
