New Jersey American Water is preparing to replace aging water main in Summit, beginning on or about April 14 and continuing through September, weather permitting. Work will be completed Monday through Friday between the hours of 8AM and 4PM on the following streets in Summit:
Madison Ave, Lincoln Ave, Lafayette Ave, Lowell Ave, Gates Ave, Montrose Ave, Webster Ave, Aubrey St, Lewis Ave, Plain St, and Weaver St.
NJAW will notify affected customers prior to the start of work on each street. Road closures and detours may be in effect in these areas while work is completed, and customers may experience temporary service interruptions.
