Summit Police Department is sharing information on recent drone activity reported in Summit and around Union and Morris counties. The department has been coordinating efforts with the Union County Prosecutor’s Office, who have been working closely with the FBI and New Jersey State Police to monitor and investigate this activity.
At this time, there is no known threat to public safety. The FBI and New Jersey State Police are encouraging the public to report any information related to recent sightings of possible drones through the following methods:
- Call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).
- Submit it online at tips.fbi.gov.
- Citizens can also upload videos directly through the FBI's online portal.
