[ARCHIVED] 2024 PAL Fishing Derby

The 2024 Police Athletic League (PAL) Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday, April 27, and Sunday, April 28, from 8AM to 4PM at the Summit Municipal Golf Course, located at 189 River Road. 

The pond at the golf course will be fully stocked with more than 1000 rainbow trout, including 10 prize fish that are over 21 inches in length. Attendees are asked to bring a fishing rod and reel; bait and tackle will be available for purchase.

Admission to the fishing derby is free and all residents are invited to attend; Summit Municipal Golf Course membership is not required. The event will take place rain or shine.

The fishing derby is sponsored by the Summit PAL and Department of Community Programs. The Summit PAL will be providing free hot dogs and soda for all attendees.
