On Friday, February 21, 2025, at approximately 08:58am the Summit Police Department responded to a residence on Blackburn Road near Twombly Drive for a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle. Further investigation revealed that at approximately 01:15am, three (3) suspects exited a white Range Rover SUV, which remained idle in the roadway, and proceeded up the driveway where a 2022 Mercedes Benz SUV and 2019 Audi SUV were parked. One (1) of the suspects entered the Audi, which was unlocked; however, they were unable to steal it as the key fob was not in the vehicle. Another suspect attempted to enter the Mercedes, but it was locked. There was no attempt to enter the house, and all three (3) suspects ran back to the Range Rover which then fled the area. According to the resident, nothing was taken from the Audi.
On February 21 at approximately 09:57am the Summit Police Department responded to a residence on Windsor Road near Ashland Road for a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle. Further investigation revealed that at approximately 01:35am one (1) suspect exited an unknown vehicle and proceeded up the driveway where he entered an unlocked 2020 BMX SUV. Taken was a winter coat valued at $100. There was no attempt on the house nor was the vehicle taken.
It is believed that both of these incidents were committed by the same suspects from the Greenbriar Drive burglary. As previously stated, please remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
