Can you use adult volunteers?: Absolutely. Coaches are needed in all sports areas. Volunteers are also welcome in the TryCAN Parents Organization, the fundraising arm of the program.

1. Are credit cards accepted for Department of Community Programs' programs?: We accept all credit cards except American Express and Discovery.

2. Can a non-Summit resident rent a field or picnic site?: No, you must be a Summit resident in order to fill out the park permit.

3. Can you use adult volunteers?: Absolutely. Coaches are needed in all sports areas. Volunteers are also welcome in the TryCAN Parents Organization, the fundraising arm of the program.

4. Do I have to be a resident to register for programs?: There is a wide variety of programs offered that do not require residency. Certain programs are restricted to residents only. Check out the details on the Community Pass Website.

5. Do property taxes have to be paid if an appeal is filed?: Taxes must be current through the first and second quarter of billing. If taxes are not current, the appeal will be denied.

6. Do you give refunds for Department of Community Programs' programs?: Once a program begins, refunds or credits will only be issued in cases of medical reasons, with documentation.

7. Do you have an ACH program?: Yes, an ACH is the direct debit method of payment which will electronically debit your checking or savings account. ACH Debit Authorization Form (PDF)
