The City of Summit is announcing some upcoming schedule changes for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

City offices will close at 3PM on Wednesday 11/22 and remain closed on Thursday 11/23 and Friday 11/24, through the holiday weekend.

Thursday 11/23 recycling has been postponed to Friday 11/24. Trash collection is on regular schedule on Thursday 11/23 and Friday 11/24.

Thursday 11/23, Friday 11/24, and Saturday 11/25 are parking holidays in Summit with no fees required in lots, garages, or at meters.

The Transfer Station is closed on Thursday 11/23 and is open for regular hours on Friday 11/24 from 7:30 AM to 3:45 PM, and Saturday 11/25 from 7:30 AM to 4:45 PM.

Mayor Nora Radest’s office hours for Thursday 11/23 have been cancelled.
