2025 Summer Lineup for Village Green Concerts and Movies

 
Join us on the Village Green this summer for the Screen on the Green movie series, Hot Summer Nights concert series, and Community Night! Full event details are available on the Department of Community Programs' website, summitcommunityprograms.com.

Screen on the Green

The 2025 Screen on the Green movie series will take place on the Village Green, on Thursday nights in July and August. The series will feature Moana 2 on July 3, The Emoji Movie on July 17, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone on July 31, Snow White (2025) on August 14, and Mufasa: The Lion King (2024) on August 28. Each night, a family dance party will begin at 7:15PM, and the movie will be shown at 8PM. Attendees may purchase food from the featured food truck of the week. This event series is sponsored by The Price Group at Compass.

Hot Summer Nights

The 2025 Hot Summer Nights concert series will feature a variety of bands on Tuesday nights during July and August. The lineup includes Almost Eras (Taylor Swift impersonator) on July 15, Steppin’ Out on July 22, Ladies of the 80s on July 29, Element K on August 5, Twilight Disciples on August 12, and Brian Kirk and the Jirks on August 19.

Concerts begin at 7PM and will be accompanied by food trucks. The second night of the concert series, Tuesday, July 22, will serve as Community Night, welcoming local non-profit organizations to share information with the Summit community during the concert.

All concert and movie attendees are asked to bring their own blankets and chairs. There is no cost for admission to concerts or movies. All events held by the City of Summit are alcohol and tobacco-free. 

Community Night on July 22

The City of Summit’s annual Community Night will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 6:30PM on the Village Green, located at 356 Broad Street. The event will be part of the Hot Summer Nights concert series and is an opportunity for Summit non-profit organizations to promote their work to the community. 

Participating organizations can begin setting up at 5PM and must be ready for visitors by 5:45PM. Organizations must provide their own table and chairs and are permitted to have one table that is no longer than eight feet in length. Pop-up tents are permitted and must be no larger than 10 feet by 10 feet in size. No fundraising by participating organizations is permitted during Community Night. Department of Community Programs staff will be available to assist organizations with setup on the night of the event.
