The City of Summit’s fourth annual Juneteenth event will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 4:30PM to 8:30PM on the Village Green, located at 356 Broad Street in Summit. This free event is open to all members of the public.

The event will feature music and entertainment, food trucks, children’s activities, and more: 

• 4:30PM – 5:15PM Eda Ne Kakati (From the Past to the Present): dance, music, and storytelling program
• 5:15PM – 5:45PM Musical performance by steel drum band AfriCarib
• 5:45PM Flag raising ceremony and remarks
• 5:45PM – 6:15PM Zumba with Jaquetta
• 6:15PM – 6:30PM Double Dutch Lyfe Demo and Trials
• 6:30PM – 8PM The Priceless Band concert
