Activity blotter November 18 to December 1
11/22/2024—At 1846 hours a report was taken for a theft that occurred at a Union Place business. The victim stated a utility tool cart was left unattended in a vestibule between 1700 hours and 1830 hours. Upon exiting the establishment, they found the cart was missing. Taken was a Milwaukee tool cart valued at $460.
11/25/2024—At 1426 hours a report was taken for a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred at an Elm Street residence. Just prior to contacting the police, the victim observed an unknown male actor in the front passenger side of their vehicle. When approached, the suspect quickly exited the vehicle and fled the area. At the time of the report, nothing was taken or damaged.
11/26/2024—At 1640 hours a report was taken for a theft that occurred at a River Road business. The victim stated that earlier in the day they placed their jacket and credit card in an unsecured locker, and upon returning, the items were discovered to be missing. At the time of the report, no monetary value of the items was provided.
11/27/2024—Michael Sajer, 21, of Mantoloking was arrested and charged with theft. Mr. Sajer was processed and released with a pending court date.
11/28/2024—Maliyah McBean, 21, of Orange City was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. Ms. McBean was processed and transported to Essex County Jail.
