Activity blotter November 4 to November 17

11/06/2024—At 0947 hours a report was taken for a burglary that occurred at an Ashwood Avenue business. The victim stated that on 11/4/24 at 2212 hours, video surveillance showed an unknown male actor enter the business and subsequently open a locked storage closet with a screwdriver. The suspect was then seen leaving the building shortly after rummaging through the closet. Nothing was reported taken at the time of the report.

11/06/2024—At 1442 hours a report was taken for a burglary to multiple vehicles located at an Edgewood Road residence. The victim stated that sometime during the overnight hours an unknown actor entered two unlocked vehicles and rummaged through the center consoles. Nothing was reported stolen at the time of the report.

11/07/2024—Keith Doile, 48, of Summit was arrested and charged with hindering apprehension. Mr. Doile was processed and released with a pending court date.

11/08/2024—At 1837 hours a report was taken for a theft that occurred at a Morris Avenue residence. The victim stated a FedEx package, valued at $415, was stolen from their front porch sometime between the dates of 10/23/24 and 11/7/24.

11/09/2024—At 0607 hours a report was taken for an attempted burglary that occurred at a Lenox Road residence. The caller stated two unknown individuals attempted to enter the residence through a locked rear door. The suspects were unsuccessful in gaining entry and ultimately fled the area prior to police arrival.

11/14/2024—At 1846 hours a report was taken for a theft that occurred at a Chestnut Avenue residence. The victim stated a package that was delivered to their door on 11/2/24 was stolen. Taken was a pair of shoes, valued at $80.

11/15/2024—Mehul Desai, 46, of Warren was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Mr. Desai was processed and released with a pending court date.
