Bike Rodeo

Soldiers Memorial Field | 5 Myrtle Ave

Children are encouraged to bring their bike and helmet to this free event that will encourage participants to have fun while engaging with bicycle safety messaging. Representatives from Avenues in Motion will perform helmet fit checks and basic bicycle maintenance inspections. Participants can ride through an obstacle course and visit stations that will highlight various bicycle skills and safety scenarios riders may encounter on the road.

Fiesta Latina

Citizens are invited to this free community event to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Attendees can enjoy musical and dance performances, Latin food trucks, and cultural demonstrations. Latin band El Ritmo will perform in concert on the main stage.

Doggy Dip

Saturday, September 21 | 10AM - 12:45PM
Summit Family Aquatic Center | 100 Ashwood Ave

The fee to attend is $5 per dog for Summit residents and $10 per dog for non-residents. Small and medium dogs (under 40 pounds) can swim from 10AM to 10:45AM. There will be two swimming sessions for large dogs (40 pounds and up), from 11AM to 11:45AM and 12PM to 12:45PM. A maximum of 40 dogs in each group will be allowed.

Battle of the Bands

Local bands are invited to enter and can perform at the event for up to 30 minutes, playing any original or cover songs. The deadline to sign up is Friday, September 13. Additional event information including registration details available here.
