On Saturday, August 3, at 11:53AM Summit Police Department received a report of two motor vehicle thefts from a residence on Llewellyn Road that occurred earlier this morning at approximately 0230 hours.

It is reported that one or two suspects entered the residence through an unlocked first floor front window before proceeding into the kitchen area where they removed three key fobs while the family was asleep upstairs. Two of the three vehicles that were parked in the driveway were subsequently taken, a 2021 Grey Porsche Taycan and a 2019 Mercedes Benz G-Series.

Members of the Summit Police Department’s Detective Bureau have been called in to investigate along with the Union County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit. Anyone with video footage or information is encouraged to contact the Summit Police Department at 908-273-0051.
