Activity blotter July 1 to July 28

07/01/2024—At 1024 hours a report was taken for a theft from a motor vehicle parked at a Hartley Road residence. The victim stated their Ring camera system observed two unknown males enter and rummage through their unlocked vehicle sometime during the overnight hours. Taken was approximately $4 in change from the center console.

07/09/2024—Olivia Barbarito, 29, of Summit was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property. Ms. Barbarito was processed and transported to Essex County Correctional Facility.

07/09/2024—James Kralovich, 38, of Summit was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property. Mr. Kralovich was processed and transported to Essex County Correctional Facility.

07/09/2024—Lakeeta Thompson, 37, of Elizabeth was arrested and charged with theft. Ms. Thompson was processed and released with a pending court date.

07/11/2024—At 0844 hours a report was taken for a stolen motor vehicle located at a Sheridan Road residence. The victim stated the incident occurred sometime during the overnight hours. The vehicle was left unlocked with the key fob inside their other vehicle. Taken was an orange 2023 BMW 430 valued at $47,000.

07/12/2024—Garnelo Delfino, 37, of Summit was arrested and charged with driving while under the influence. Mr. Delfino was processed and released with a pending court date.

07/17/2024—Jordan Lawson-Reid, 31, of Woodbridge was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Newark. Mr. Lawson-Reid was processed and transported to Newark Police Department.

07/17/2024—At 1805 hours a report was taken for a theft that occurred at a Canoe Brook Parkway residence. The victim stated sometime during the overnight hours an unknown individual had taken a flag that was displayed on their property. At the time of the report no value of the item was given.

07/19/2024—At 0814 hours a report was taken for a theft that occurred at a Shunpike Road residence. The victim stated sometime during the overnight hours an unknown individual stole the catalytic converter to their 2007 Honda CRV. The total amount of the theft is approximately $300.

07/21/2024—John Wilcox, 62, of Morristown was arrested and charged with alarming conduct. Mr. Wilcox was processed and released with a pending court date.

07/22/2024—James Melfi, 48, of South River Borough was arrested and charged with use of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle. Mr. Melfi was processed and released with a pending court date.

07/24/2024—At 2027 hours a report was taken for a theft that occurred at a Club Drive residence. The victim stated they left their bicycle in front of the residence between 1330 hours and 1630 hours on 7/24/24. Taken was a black and yellow Nishiki bicycle, valued at $250.

07/28/2024—Marc Bedolla-Flores, 23, of Summit was arrested and charged with simple assault. Mr. Bedolla-Flores was processed and released with a pending court date.
