The Summit Fire Department urgently advises all pedestrians and motorists to exercise extreme caution due to downed power lines in multiple locations throughout Summit as a result of storm damage. If you encounter downed power lines, maintain a safe distance and do not approach them under any circumstances. Stay safe and report any downed lines immediately to authorities by calling 911.
