Over the weekend, three residential burglaries at homes on Stiles Road, Clark Street and Hartley Road were reported to the Summit Police Department.
On Saturday, January 27, 2024, suspects shattered a rear glass door to gain entry to a kitchen at a Stiles Road residence. Nest security cameras captured two unidentified males entering the home at 7:21PM and exiting 13 minutes later. Both suspects wore hoods and masks. The primary bedroom was ransacked, and an undisclosed amount of jewelry and cash was stolen. The residents were not home at the time of the incident.
On Saturday, January 27, 2024, between 5:45PM and 8PM, suspects entered a Clark Street residence through an unlocked rear kitchen window. The bedrooms were rummaged through, and an undisclosed amount of jewelry was stolen. The residents were not home at the time of the incident.
Between Thursday, January 25, 2024, and 7PM on Sunday January 28, 2024, suspects shattered a rear glass door to gain entry to the kitchen of a Hartley Road residence. The primary bedroom was rummaged through, and four men’s watches were reported as stolen. The resident was not home at the time of the incident.
The crime scenes at all three residences were processed by members of the Union County Sherriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit. The incidents are being investigated by the Summit Police Department Detective Bureau.
