The deadline for resident parking and Transfer Station permit renewals was extended to November 30, 2023. Permits are required by the City of Summit for residents to park in municipal parking lots and garages and to use the Municipal Transfer Station on 40 New Providence Ave. Once approved by Parking Services staff, new permits will be valid through October 31, 2024.
All registered permit holders should have received an email with instructions and a link to the permit system webpage. Registered permit holders with an existing online account may renew a permit online at https://summit.gtechna.net/permit-portal/login.xhtml. Further step-by-step instructions are also available in the “Help” section of the online portal.
