Over the next week, PSE&G crews will be replacing mains and services on the following streets in Summit, weather permitting:
Wallace Road between Rose Lane and Woodland Avenue
Rowan Road between Oak Ridge Avenue and Oak Ridge Avenue
Iris Road between River Road and Canoe Brook Parkway
**Downtown Summit: Beechwood Road between Deforest Avenue and Springfield Avenue** Road closures and detours will be in effect, and Summit police will be onsite to direct traffic. Work will take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 7AM and 5PM, weather permitting. PSE&G will continue daily daytime work on Springfield Avenue between Morris Avenue and Waldron Avenue from 7AM to 5PM this week. Crews will be working in the area between Summit Avenue and Glenwood Place and will continue east towards Waldron Avenue. A single lane closure will be required. Expect traffic and delays; consider planning an alternate route.
