Beacon Road is scheduled to be milled and paved on Tuesday, May 9, and Wednesday, May 10. Milling operations will begin on Tuesday, May 9, at approximately 11AM and will be complete by the end of the day. Paving is scheduled for Wednesday, May 10, and will be complete by the afternoon. Beacon Road will be closed during milling and re-opened after milling is complete until paving starts the following day. The road will also be closed during paving operations and for a few hours after paving is complete to allow the pavement to cure.

Emergency vehicles will have access at all times, and Summit Police officers will be onsite to direct traffic and assist with local access on affected streets. Written notifications will be delivered by the contractor to all affected property owners.

During project work, residents should park on neighboring side streets. If it is necessary to leave cars on the street overnight, please submit a request to the Summit Police Department online to avoid being ticketed.
