Summit Police Department activity blotter April 24 to April 30, 2023

4/24/2023—Marcus Smith, 18, of Dover was arrested and charged with criminal attempt, unlawful possession of a weapon, and burglary attempt. Mr. Smith was processed and released with a pending court date.

4/25/2023—At 1100 hours a report was taken for a burglary that occurred at a Mountain Avenue residence. The victim stated that someone entered their home between 1800 hours and 2300 hours on 4/24/2023. They observed multiple open doors that were closed when they left the residence earlier that day. The only item missing was a bottle of Popov Vodka valued at $15.00.

4/28/2023—At 1547 hours a report was taken for a stolen bicycle from a Weaver Street residence. The victim stated they received a security camera notification that showed a black male in a red hat cutting the chain off the bicycle and riding away. The bicycle was described as a gold men’s Trek bike, unknown model, valued at $1,000.
