The Summit Department of Community Programs is hosting the 2023 PAL Fishing Derby on Saturday, April 29, and Sunday, April 30, from 8AM to 4PM at the Summit Municipal Golf Course, located at 189 River Road.

The pond at the golf course will be fully stocked with more than 1000 rainbow trout, including 10 prize fish that are over 21 inches in length. Attendees are asked to bring a fishing rod and reel; bait and tackle will be available for purchase.

Admission to the fishing derby is free and all residents are invited to attend; Summit Municipal Golf Course membership is not required. The event will take place rain or shine.
