Please be advised:

Nelson Tree Company will begin scheduled tree trimming maintenance on power lines in Summit for JCP&L at the end of April or early May. Customers on affected streets will be notified of work by the contractor.

JCP&L contractors select trees that require trimming, notify property owners of any work that is planned for their property, provide contact information, answer questions, and give property owners the option to have the work done privately instead. All wood debris that is too large to be run through the chipper (more than about 12-14 inches in diameter) will be cut into manageable lengths and left on the property.
