The PSE&G project to replace gas pipes throughout Summit is currently underway. Work is expected to be complete by early summer 2023 depending on project progress over the spring. Over the next week, crews will be replacing mains and services on the following streets in Summit, weather permitting: Springfield Avenue between Edgewood Road and Waldron Avenue
Woodland Avenue between Bellevue Avenue and Hillcrest Avenue
Norwood Avenue between Deforest Avenue and Crescent Avenue
Tanglewood Drive between Little Wolf Road and Dale Drive
Rotary Drive between Rotary Lane and Highland Drive Road closures and detours will be in effect, and Summit police will be onsite to direct traffic. Work will take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 7AM and 5PM, weather permitting.
