In his council meeting report, Council President Greg Vartan will provide an update on the Broad Street West project process, including a timeline for possible actions from February through June. The Council President will also share information on the Maple Street seasonal closure process. Updates will also be provided by Mayor Radest and City Administrator Rogers.

Fire Chief Eric Evers will recognize retiring volunteer firefighters.

There is one ordinance for introduction. It is a capital bond ordinance that authorizes borrowing for Summit's portion of the next several phases of the Joint Meeting's flood mitigation project (critical sewer/waste infrastructure that is reimbursed 90% from FEMA). The hearing is scheduled for the February 21 council meeting.

There are two resolutions related to Broad Street West. The first will remove sub-districts two and four from the redevelopment area and the second will renew the contract with the city planner. Additional resolutions will address an application for certification as a Tree City USA for the twenty-seventh year, and grants related to sustainability efforts.
