Weekly blotter January 16 to January 22, 2023
1/16/2023—Ronald Jones, 59, of Irvington was arrested and charged with shoplifting. Mr. Jones was processed and released with a pending court date.
1/19/2023 - Two homes were broken into on Friar Tuck Circle sometime between 1330 and 1830 hours on Thursday January 19, 2023. The suspects entered the first home by smashing a rear dining room window. The suspects entered the second home by smashing rear window on the second floor. Rooms in both homes were found ransacked. At the time of the report, an undetermined amount of jewelry had been stolen.
1/22/2023 - At approximately 0648 hours on Sunday, January 22, 2023, three male suspects forcibly entered the Aston Martin car dealership located at 326 Morris Ave. through a service bay door on the north side of the building. The suspects located and removed several key fobs from the building and used them to steal a 2021 Aston Martin DBX and a 2022 BMW 8 series from the parking lot. The suspects were seen operating a two-door matte black BMW X8 with dark tinted windows and a temporary license plate.
1/22/2023—At 1920 hours a report was taken for a theft at a River Road business. The victim stated the incident occurred just prior to contacting the police when they witnessed an unknown individual drive away in a U-Haul truck without paying for gasoline. The total amount of the theft was $20.
