Summit Police Department weekly blotter November 14 to November 20, 2022

11/14/2022—At 1912 hours a report was taken for a theft of a scooter from a Maple Street business. The victim stated they left their kick scooter outside and unlocked near the front entrance of the building between 1540 hours and 1600 hours, when they returned the scooter was missing. Taken was a Razor brand scooter valued at $130.

11/18/2022—At 1837 hours a report was taken for an attempted burglary into a vehicle parked at an Ashland Road residence. The caller stated a male was observed attempting to enter their locked 2022 black Audi A4. The unknown individual fled the area when confronted. There was no damage to the vehicle and nothing was taken.

11/18/2022—At 2035 hours a report was taken for a theft that occurred at a Passaic Avenue business. The victim stated they left their belongings inside a locker between 1745 hours and 1930 hours, when they returned their Android phone had been taken. The phone is valued at approximately $240.
