Summit Police Department: There is a power outage in the area of Kent Place Blvd and Morris Avenue that is affecting approximately 500 to 1500 customers. A motor vehicle accident is the cause of the downed utility pole and the resulting power outage. JCP&L is working to address the problem and provided an estimated restoration time of 11AM. Please avoid travel in the area. The power outage is impacting traffic signals and causing traffic congestion and delays.
