PSE&G crews will be working to replace gas pipes and performing milling and paving operations throughout Summit this week.
The PSE&G project to replace gas pipes throughout Summit is currently underway. Work is expected to continue through December 2022. More information on the project is available here.
PSE&G crews will be working on the following streets in Summit over the next week:
Bellevue Avenue between Hillcrest Avenue and Summit Avenue
Hillcrest Avenue between Bellevue Avenue and Woodland Avenue
Hillcrest Avenue between Summit Avenue and Fernwood Road
Karen Way between Canoe Brook Parkway and Wade Drive
Beechwood Road between Bellevue Avenue and Hawthorne Place
PSE&G will be performing milling and paving on the following streets in Summit beginning Monday, October 31:
Hobart Road between Hobart Avenue and Dogwood Drive
Ridge Road between Hobart Avenue and Summit Avenue
Hobart Avenue between Whittredge Road and Beacon Road
Hobart Avenue between Springfield Avenue and Whittredge Road
Work will take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 8AM and 4PM, weather permitting. Road closures and detours will be in effect, and Summit police will be onsite to direct traffic. Please contact PSE&G at 1-833-661-6300 or
