The City of Summit Department of Community Services is beginning work today on the Beacon Road Improvement Project that will include repairs to curbs and sewers and upgrades to drainage structures before the street is paved in December, weather permitting.

Project work will be performed between the hours of 8AM and 4:30PM Monday through Friday. Summit police will be onsite to direct traffic. Partial road closures will be in effect during project work, and Beacon Road will be closed during milling and paving operations.
