The contractor for the New Jersey American Water project to install new water mains on Morris Avenue is providing a progress update.

The new water main is in service on Morris Avenue between Kent Place Boulevard and Lafayette Avenue. Crews will be working on mains and services this week on Morris Avenue between Kent Place Boulevard and Edgar Street and between Lafayette Avenue and Lincoln Avenue.

Work will continue to be completed between 8PM and 5AM Monday through Friday. The contractor is expecting project work to be complete by October 31, weather permitting.
