Summit Police Department: There is a FALSE post being shared on social media about a serial killer in our area. Police reached out to the Essex County Prosecutors Office and confirmed that this is a fraudulent post. None of this activity is being being committed in our area and none of our neighboring municipalities have been advised of this type of perpetrator nearby.
