6/21/2022—At 1647 hours a report was taken for a motor vehicle theft from a Colt Road residence. The victim stated the incident occurred between 1500 hours and 1630 hours. The vehicle was left unlocked with the key fob inside. Taken was a silver 2021 Mercedes Benz GLS wagon, valued at $80,000.

6/22/2022—At 0640 hours a report was taken for a burglary to a Broad Street business. The victim stated upon arriving to work they observed damage to the garage door and that multiple draws and cabinets were rummaged through. At the time of the report a list of stolen property was not provided.

6/26/2022—At 1338 hours a report was taken for a motor vehicle theft from a Parkview Terrace residence. The victim stated the incident occurred during the overnight hours. The vehicle was left unlocked and with the key fob inside. Taken was a black 2019 Jeep Wrangler valued at $36,000.

6/25/22 - At approximately 1:35PM, a resident reported a suspicious vehicle operating on Fernwood Road. A short time later, the vehicle was seen traveling at a high rate of speed, leaving the city on Route 24 east at Summit Ave. Police later determined that the vehicle, described as a black 2021 BMW M340i New York license plate number KJC4205 had been reported stolen earlier that same morning in Long Branch, NJ.
