Please be advised: the swearing in of newly elected and re-elected Common Council members will be held outdoors on Tuesday 1/4 at 7:30PM in the courtyard at City Hall, located at 512 Springfield Avenue. It will be broadcast live on the City of Summit YouTube channel for those who do not plan to attend.

The Organization Meeting will follow the swearing-in ceremony, and will be held inside the Council Chamber. The meeting will be broadcast live on YouTube, as well as HomeTowne TV Comcast channel 36 and Verizon channel 33.

For residents who would like to attend the Organization Meeting, seating will be available inside the Council Chamber and in the first floor lobby to encourage social distancing. Please note that masks are required to be worn inside City Hall at all times, including while speaking.
