The New Jersey State Department of Health has informed the City of Summit that there are no new cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus in Summit, NJ today. The total number of confirmed cases is 199. Additional statistics are available at https://www.cityofsummit.org/coronavirus.

This year Summit will host a pre-recorded Memorial Day ceremony with messages from Mayor Radest and Common Council members, American Legion Post #322, our veterans and others to honor and remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Hometown Heroes program banners, honoring local veterans, are hanging throughout Summit. This is the third year that banners with the names, images and dates of service of active military and veterans will be displayed on city streets from mid-May through Labor Day.
