The New Jersey State Department of Health has informed the City of Summit of one new case of the COVID-19 coronavirus in Summit, bringing the total number of confirmed cases is 183.

Of the total confirmed positive cases, the Westfield Regional Health Department reports:
• Ages range from 3 years to 100 years
• 19 patients are hospitalized
• 43 have self-reported recoveries
• 12 are deceased (eight fatalities are associated with long-term care)
