The New Jersey State Department of Health has informed the City of Summit of two new positive cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus in Summit, NJ, bringing its total number of confirmed cases to 182. Additional statistics are available at https://www.cityofsummit.org/coronavirus.
On May 6, Governor Murphy extended the NJ state of emergency related to the COVID-19 pandemic for another 30 days. This public health state of emergency may continue to be extended until a determination is made that an emergency no longer exists. https://covid19.nj.gov

The Summit Farmers Market will open this Sunday, May 10 from 8AM to 1PM in the Park & Shop lot #1 on the corner of Woodland Avenue and Deforest Avenue. Market visits are limited to one family member and social distancing and masks are required. Please be mindful of the new restrictions.
