The New Jersey State Department of Health has informed the City of Summit of five new positive cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus in Summit, NJ, bringing its total number of confirmed cases to 149.

The Department of Labor created a new web portal that allows New Jersey residents to contact the Department of Labor directly. This is a helpful tool for residents who have questions about their applications. https://www.myunemployment.nj.gov

The traffic signal at Orchard Street and Morris Avenue is being upgraded to increase traffic efficiency of the intersection. A left turn option for motorists travelling westbound from Morris Avenue onto Orchard Street will be added. Please be aware of the new traffic patterns and signage and drive safely.
