New Single-use Plastics Restrictions go into effect January 1, 2021

The ordinances restrict single-use plastic bags at checkout, bans use of polystrene (Styrofoam) food containers, and makes plastic drinking straws available by request only. Enforcement of ordinances was postponed for six months due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Pickup on scheduled household garbage collection days through Friday 12/4 or first major snowfall. Place leaves in brown paper biodegradable bags. Do not include twigs or branches. Do not rake or blow leaves into street.
