Poll Workers Needed For Primary Election

The City of Summit is in need of additional poll workers for the Tuesday, June 5 Primary Election. Poll workers 18 years and older will receive $200 for working a full day shift. Students ages 16 to 17 are eligible to work a half day shift for $100. 

The county will pay an additional $12.50 for picking up or returning election materials to Summit City Hall, making it possible to earn $225 for the day. Polls are open from 6AM to 8PM; poll workers are required to work the entire time polls are open, in addition to the time required to open and close the polling locations.
