In anticipation of the predicted snowstorm, the collection of household garbage will be suspended on Tuesday, March 14. Tuesday garbage collection will be conducted on Wednesday, March 15 and Thursday, March 16, conditions permitting. Please clear a path to trash receptacles.

The Transfer Station and recycling center will be closed on Tuesday, March 14.

Please clear snow from fire hydrants on residential properties.

People are advised to remain at home and avoid driving if possible. On-street parking is prohibited on Tuesday, March 14 to allow plow crews to clear roadways.

Report any downed wires by calling 911 and report any power outages to JCP&L on their website or by calling 1-888-544-4877.

The receipt of bids originally scheduled for Tuesday March 14 at 11AM for the Summit Avenue, Maple Street, and Elm Street Improvement Project have been postponed. Bids will now be received on Thursday, March 16 at 11AM.
