The Summit Police Department issues Nixle alerts providing important, event-related information by telephone, email and text message, as well as through the Nixle website.

Union County First Alert

Union County helps keep residents informed about county-wide emergency events and update through its Union County First Alert service.

Social Media

The City of Summit utilizes Facebook and Twitter to keep residents informed about events and on-going items of interest. During an emergency, both Facebook and Twitter will be utilized to communicate as well.
