To make a request, either call our offices at 908-522-5100 or complete the forms and bring to the Parking Services, City Hall, 512 Springfield Avenue, Summit.

Bagged Meter

Summit provides Bagged Meters for companies doing work in Summit whose commercial vehicles need to park all day at a street meter. The fee is $25.00/day per meter. Please provide Parking Services 24-hour notice to have a meter(s) bagged.

Dumpster Permit

A permit is required to place a dumpster on the street. A permit is not required if the dumpster is on your own property. If you are not blocking a meter, the cost of the permit is a flat fee of $35.00. If you are blocking one meter the fee is $35.00/day. If any additional meters are blocked, you will need to pay an additional $25.00/day per meter.
