BEDFORD ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
Limits:
Entire Length - Morris to Woodland
Scope:
Drainage installation,installation of curbing, sidewalk replacement, ADA upgrades, full milling and roadway resurfacing.
Contractor: Cifell & Son, 973-235.0302
End Date:
May 31, 2013.
Update: Milling is completed. Paving will be completed on Wednesday, May 22, 2013.
Detours: Access will be restricted during milling and paving operations.
VALLEY VIEW AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
Limits: Entire Length - Blackburn to Division.
Scope: Drainage installation,installation of curbing, sidewalk replacement, ADA upgrades, full milling and roadway resurfacing.

End Date: June 25, 2013.
Update: Contractor has begun drainage and curb work.
Detours: Road closed to local traffic.
BELLEVUE AVENUE ROAD & DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
Limits:
Bellevue Avenue - Entire Length.
Hill Crest Avenue - Drainage improvement only from intersection with Bellevue easterly to #84
Scope:
Drainage Improvements,installation of curbing, sidewalk replacement, ADA upgrades, full milling and roadway resurfacing.
Contractor:
CARO Corporation, 973-635-7141
Start Date:
Work has begun.
End Date: May 25, 2013 - Curbing shall be completed,
June 15, 2013 - Roadway resurfacing to be completed.
Update: Base course paving will be completed on the portion between Hill Crest and Summit Avenue on May 17, 2013.
Detours:
Temporary detours will be posted throughout the project.

HAWTHORNE PLACE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
Limits:
Hawthorne Place - Entire Length from Woodland to Beechwood.
Scope:
Drainage Improvements,installation of curbing, sidewalk replacement, ADA upgrades, full milling and roadway resurfacing.

Start Date:
Drainage & Curb Work is completed. Paving has not yet been scheduled.
End Date: May 31, 2013 - Roadway resurfacing to be completed.
Update: Paving will be completed on Tuesday, May 21, 2013.
Detours: Access will be restricted during milling and paving operations.
HILL CREST AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS
Limits: Full length, from Woodland Avenue to Fernwood Road.
Scope: Drainage improvements, installation of curbing, sidewalk improvements, ADA upgrades, channelization, milling, and roadway resurfacing.
Contractor: Fischer Contracting, Scotch Plains NJ 908 757 2215
Start Date: On or about April 1, 2013
End Date: On or about May 31, 2013
Detours: Temporary detours will be set up throughout the project as needed. Local traffic will have access except during milling and paving operations.
